Victoria Finance PLC offers impact investors, development partners and catalytic capital providers a practical route to expand inclusive finance in Tanzania. As a Bank of Tanzania–regulated Tier 2 microfinance institution, Victoria Finance combines local presence, operational experience and a clear social mandate: to serve people and enterprises often left outside mainstream financial services.
The Company is seeking catalytic capital to strengthen its balance sheet, mobilise additional debt funding and scale responsible lending to underserved individuals, micro and small enterprises, SACCOS, women, youth, smallholder farmers, and rural and peri-urban communities. Priority use of funds includes portfolio growth, digital delivery, agricultural value-chain finance, women and youth enterprise lending, group lending, rural outreach, product innovation and institutional capacity.
Investment may be structured through two routes:
Ordinary equity participation of up to 40%, subject to valuation, regulatory approvals and definitive transaction documentation.
Preference-share investment of up to the local-currency equivalent of USD 5 million through 15% five-year redeemable cumulative preference shares, offering a defined return profile while supporting inclusive finance growth.
